How It Works - Phase 2

We made it past the designing phase - you must be ready to build. There are 2 options at this point.

Option 1 - 'You call a friend'

Let's say you know a renovator, have a friend in the business, or want to build yourself. That is great - I have been in the industry and I understand the freedom of these kind of tasks. We will provide you all the designs we have to date and access to the website for 6 weeks and your free to do with them as you see fit whether that be give them to a renovator you know, or take them to a cabinet maker to go forward.

Option 2 - 'Tell me what it will cost'

We appreciate the confidence you are showing us. The great thing is we get this option all the time. We have been very lucky.

So, these are the next steps we typically take.

  1. Finalize the design. After sitting down and looking at a design, it isn't unexpected that some new ideas may have come up. This step makes sure that nothing has been missed.
  2. We will meet with one of our cabinet supplier(s) to discuss the opportunity. This allows us to share some ideas and see if our initial estimate is accurate.
  3. Following this meeting, the project manager / renovator / cabinet maker will join us at your house to confirm the measurements. They may also have some ideas that we haven't considered. A couple days after this meeting, you will be provided a quote for the project.
  4. We provide you a couple of days to review this quote and if it is acceptable, we continue moving forward.
  5. Before finalizing this quote, you need to start making some decisions
    • We meet with the cabinet make to agree on stain, door styles, and cabinet fixtures.
    • We meet with the fixture supplier to agree on fixtures,
    • We meet with the counter top supplier to agree on the countertop.
    • Note: During the online request, you are asked to fill in a variety of items including colors for flooring, cabinet colors and countertops. This is important in help us with the design. However we insist that we revisit these choices to guarantee that colors chosen on the computer are indeed what you want.
  6. We finalize the project, receive a 50 % downpayment against the quoted price, agree to a date and get the manufacturing started.
